Plein Air Forest Studies
On a humid Friday I went plein air painting with Christine and my good friend Khoebe. It's nice to get off the computer, sketch outside and explore nature, had a lot of fun!

Costume Life Drawing @ Sheridan Reading Week
I went to life drawing 4 days in a row this week (which is now a huge deal for me!) Wednesday I did my first costume extra life drawing. It was a lot of fun since I can draw the figure better, so it's just a matter of adding clothes on top. Faces and stuff are still messed up and my drapery is too complicated, but these are 3-5 minutes, so it's always intense.
I have to thank my buddies for challenging me to go to life drawing cause if it weren't for them I would slack off and miss this opportunity.

Sketch Dump
Originally I was only going to post my best work here. However I decided to make this my student blog and I will have a professional blog later. This gives me the opportunity to spam more studies and sketches.
By exposing my lack of talent to the internet, it will push me to work harder at improving.

First Life Drawings from Animation School
These are some pages from the first 3 life drawing classes of year 1. Way better start compared to Fundies. Hopefully I'll keep getting better by year 4. I should look back at this post when I graduate and do a comparison with my last life drawings to see how much I improve.
Also, the times for these poses are either 1, 3 or 5 minutes. We do a ton of 30 second poses too, but those aren't worth photographing. Pretty intense!
